About Me

My name is Josh Engel, I’m 21 years old and I am currently attending Miami University for a degree in Visual Media Design. I’m a proud Eagle Scout, and Brotherhood member of the Order of the Arrow (Boy Scout National Honor Society). Photography as well as other forms of visual media have been a growing passion of mine for quite some time. This past year I have really dove right in and got my hands dirty.

My Photography passion began in 2008 when I took a digital imaging class and it sky rocketed as I continued on after the class ended. I have to give alot of credit to one man that has really inspired me to follow through and do what I want and that is Chase Jarvis. He is truly my number one inspiration when it comes to where I would love to be down the road although it seems to be a long shot. I, however, will work as hard as I can to get as far as I can with my photography.

My cinematography has been growing for a little longer than my photography skills. I’ve been producing machinima movies since 2006 using the Halo 2 and Halo 3 engine. My work has been featured on the front page of Bungie.net many times and I was featured as a prominant community member by the Bungie staff. I have since ceased my machinima projects and plan on starting live action movies in the future.

I’ve been involved in many online communities over the years and I also run my own. If gaming is your thing stop my my website Arm The Flag. So what does the future hold? Only time will tell, but I will say that I know exciting times are ahead!
